Sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while. My life isn't really all that interesting, because I do the same thing every day; play music. I'm still waiting for something awesome to happen in my life, and it seems like it'll be a while.

KINGS OF LEON

Was awesome!

Although they didn't play the two songs I was really dying to hear/see, [King of the Rodeo, McFearless] it was still awesome.

And I think I was right. The era in my life where all of the last blog happens happened. But I didn't meet any 'hot indie chicks'. Oh well.
The show was awesome, and the opening [via The Walkmen] was good.

But since I didn't get to hear the songs I wanted to the most, the show left a 'bittersweet' taste in my mouth, but allowing the Sweet to overcome the Bitter.

tomorrow I will see Kings of Leon.

Tomorrow, I am ushering in an era of my life.

An era where I no longer 'Go and see an alternative rock show by an alternative band that got popular via the radio or via mtv or via everyone loving them so much.'

An era in which I will 'Go and see [indie rock] shows with my close, more independently inclined friends, and not only my church friends'.
I guess you can say that Kings of Leon got exposure via mtv or the radio, but they got exposure off of their crappie album [via ONLY_BY_THE_NIGHT_], so they don't count. And, people who enjoy really good music really love them.

So this is me entering the era where I become an 'independent teenager' who goes to shows and sees people of the same 'social group' at the shows, and meets them, and talks to them, and maybe even dates one ore seven of the 'hot indie chicks' that he meets. But I only can hope that happens.

I LOVE COLLEGE! LOLZ!

Here's what's wrong with that song.


1. It's played out to the point where the college kids don't even like it.

2. All it talks about is partying, and that's it. Not even what actually goes down in college.

3. IT APPEALS TO THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS. NOT the college kids, which is retarded, because the high school kids haven't been to college.

THE SUSAN BOYLE ISSUE

Ok, y'all.

Time to deal with 'The Susan Boyles' band. [via Britain's Got Talent]

So if you haven't seen in, there's this kinda fuglie 47 or something year old chick who wants to 'be a rockstar' or something zany like that.
She comes out on stage, and she's all yikesy and junk, and no one thinks she can sing.

And with my opinion, a few singers that I know personally, a chorus teacher, she can't.

For some reason, this video is getting alot of hype, and is sweeping the int3rw3bz off of their 'lil kickers'.
People are making a big deal out of nothing. They got a weird woman who sings weirdly. And it's incredible? Srsly tho? Y'all, I don't get it. Maybe I just don't 'get' her as much as u do, but she really isn't that good, y'all! Well, I just wanted to get that off of my bare lil' chest b4 I go 2 bedz. Tell me what y'all think.
