Sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while. My life isn't really all that interesting, because I do the same thing every day; play music. I'm still waiting for something awesome to happen in my life, and it seems like it'll be a while.

Was awesome!

Although they didn't play the two songs I was really dying to hear/see, [King of the Rodeo, McFearless] it was still awesome.

And I think I was right. The era in my life where all of the last blog happens happened. But I didn't meet any 'hot indie chicks'. Oh well.
The show was awesome, and the opening [via The Walkmen] was good.

But since I didn't get to hear the songs I wanted to the most, the show left a 'bittersweet' taste in my mouth, but allowing the Sweet to overcome the Bitter.

Tomorrow, I am ushering in an era of my life.

An era where I no longer 'Go and see an alternative rock show by an alternative band that got popular via the radio or via mtv or via everyone loving them so much.'

An era in which I will 'Go and see [indie rock] shows with my close, more independently inclined friends, and not only my church friends'.
I guess you can say that Kings of Leon got exposure via mtv or the radio, but they got exposure off of their crappie album [via ONLY_BY_THE_NIGHT_], so they don't count. And, people who enjoy really good music really love them.

So this is me entering the era where I become an 'independent teenager' who goes to shows and sees people of the same 'social group' at the shows, and meets them, and talks to them, and maybe even dates one ore seven of the 'hot indie chicks' that he meets. But I only can hope that happens.

Here's what's wrong with that song.

1. It's played out to the point where the college kids don't even like it.

2. All it talks about is partying, and that's it. Not even what actually goes down in college.

3. IT APPEALS TO THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS. NOT the college kids, which is retarded, because the high school kids haven't been to college.

Time to deal with 'The Susan Boyles' band. [via Britain's Got Talent]

So if you haven't seen in, there's this kinda fuglie 47 or something year old chick who wants to 'be a rockstar' or something zany like that.
She comes out on stage, and she's all yikesy and junk, and no one thinks she can sing.

And with my opinion, a few singers that I know personally, a chorus teacher, she can't.

For some reason, this video is getting alot of hype, and is sweeping the int3rw3bz off of their 'lil kickers'.

I just had an argument with one of my best friends about why Barack Obama was the one who shouldn't be president.(I don't intend to offend ANYONE who reads this. Sorry if I do.)
I said that I think America definitely isn't ready for socialism.
HIS argument was:
A." omg in the 30s we had a dem pull us out of the depression in times of econmic suffrage u need stronger gov bailing out big busines and sitn back and wait and c doesnt work"
(what?)
And then I argued about how I believe abortion is a terrible thing, and I said that I would absolutely love to have an African American president, but one who stood for good morals, and his argument was this:
B."correct things like invading a country wit out teell the us wat we were doing and doing the eltric chair yet saying abortion is bad is so f***n contradciting"
(WHAT?!)
My argument against A:
"Well, Socialism isn't going to help us at all economically, and Barack Obama wants to raise taxes, so if you're worried about the economy, why elect the candidate that wants to raise taxes?"
*changes subject to B.*
My argument against B:
"Not to offend you, but that could very well be one of the most stupid arguments ever. An Unborn Fetus vs. a convicted criminal? That's a no- brainer!"

Him: "sam its calld valuing human life and not playing god"

Me:"America was based on Christian Values.

And if you want to talk about valuing life,

Barack Obama supports infanticide.

Which is possibly the WORST form of abortion

AND if you're going to put a value on life, why put the higher value on the one that's a convicted criminal and not the one who hasn't been born?"

Me: "IF YOU KILL SOMEONE."

And after that, I argued some more, but he just kept using the same situation OVER and OVER and OVER again.What in the world? Why are the majority of kids thinking this way? I'm sure I'm not the only other 13 year old who thinks correctly, but so many kids are poisoned in to thinking the way he does. My heart breaks for the kids who think that the life of a criminal is more valuable than an unborn fetus! Jesus was crucified, but the criminal was set free. I just want to change the mindsets of the people of my generation.

If you try to debate with me, please don't argue stupidly , and come up with more than one point.
